When you arrives to the site's information Chaupiurco, the owner Mr. Emiliano Ramos welcomes you. He is a Native Guide (Ministry of Tourism license) and will be your private guide.
The guide will give them the necessary information to begin the adventure. In the first instance to take the road that passes through the grasslands provide food for livestock.
By continuing decline is introduced into the cloud forest, following the trail ecologico natural heritage of our forefathers, a trek of 45 minutes breathing pure air, you can see a variety of nature in the area such as: arrayán, motilón, cedro, colcas, pululas, moras silvestres, anturios, bambu, etc. Animals such as: tangará montana, matorralero, moquirufo, ampitas, rapazes, gallinazos, curiquingue, pava andina and other.
After walking about 45 minutes you will find hidden in the cloud forest Chaupiurco waterfall. Imposing height of 100metres water drops almost vertically to 90grados breaks in the ground forming rainbows.

GETTING THERE |

Nono is located 18 km (45minutos) northwest of Quito. Go north of Quito, take the Occidental Avenue and at the intersection of Machala street this entry to go to the parish of Nono. The road now has sections that are paved, but is not yet complete.
Arriving at the village of Nono, continuing with the way the division is 1 km and the entrance (large sign signal CHAUPIURCO waterfall). At this point turn right, down a path of 2nd order (earth). Are 8 km away via a Alaspungo, about 25 minutes at a normal speed, following the signs that are different on the road.
