Program Highlights
El Gradual Esmeraldas lodge / Las 7 cascadas are in Ecuador's Chocó biogeographic area that has extremely high biological diversity and is recognized as one of the wettest areas of the world

Within the Lodge's 207 hectares (511 acres) we have exclusive trails to the seven waterfalls, from the forest trail to the Chuchubí reserve. We have waterfalls from six to more than 80 meters in height, and special primary and secondary forest areas for wildlife watching. We offer train excursions and visits to the community of El Guadual and the sugar mill where visitors can see how sugarcane is crushed and sample its rich juice.

Their objective is to inform visitors about the importance of conserving biodiversity through co-existence and harmony of humans and natural settings.

This is essential because we are witnesses to how humans are contributing to the destruction and disappearance of many living species - plants as well as animals - which affects the climate of our planet. In the face of these events individuals need to be aware that nature should not be altered or abused

Las Siete Cascadas
